BIRST Day Program (Brain Injury Rehabilitation Support Team) – A program of the Western Tidewater Community Services Board
Specialized Outpatient Rehabilitation for people with Acquired Brain Injury, Developmental Disability, or degenerative illness and Severe Mental Illness (SMI) or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Rehab Therapies can include Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies as indicated, Specialized Case Management, Vocational Assistance, Mental Health Skill Building, and Outpatient Mental Health services which can include, individual, group and if appropriate, family counseling. Psychiatric Care provided by Western Tidewater Community Services Board. For Adults.
