Camp Counselor/Volunteer Training
This page contains all of the training materials for counselors and volunteer staff of Camp Bruce McCoy 2019.
The purpose of this new training format is to streamline the training that takes place on-site prior to camper arrival.
This training is to be completed by Friday, May 3rd and should take you no longer than 2 hours altogether.
At the end of each training module, there is a link to a short 4-5 question quiz, links are also provided below. These quizzes will assesses your knowledge of the module’s content.
There are also 2 survey questions in each quiz that will request feedback on the training content and structure. While these responses are not anonymous, they are also not required, yet we ask you to please consider providing some feedback so that we can continue to provide a training experience that most benefits you, the staff of Camp Bruce McCoy.

The word documents linked below contain some information from the training modules, along with some additional info, and serve as an alternative format to the information if you wish to easily print out some of this information for review.
Brain Injury 101 training appendix (has been used in previous years of camp) This file was also emailed to you. It is referred to in some of the training modules and provides some information on topics such as conduct expectations and medical emergency protocols.
Again, the training modules should be completed no later than Friday, May 3rd.
