Enhancing Parenting Skills (EPS) of Civilians and Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury and their Non-injured Partners: A Service-Based Program is a project funded by the Virginia Commonwealth Neurotrauma Initiative and offered by Virginia Commonwealth University’s Departments of Rehabilitation Counseling and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

The goal of EPS is to enhance the parenting capability of Virginia’s civilians and veterans with TBI and their non-injured partners.

Through these sessions are goals are to:

1. Support parents and families that experience challenges

2. Give hands-on tools and skills that will assist in positively changing the way families deal with the stress associated with brain injury

Our first training will be offered in Richmond on Saturday, September 14th. The training is 3 hours long and will include a gift card incentive for participants (one per couple). We invite partners who are co-parenting minor children living at home to attend.
