Information & Referral Services

BIAV’s information and referral service is at the core of what we do. Since our agency started, we have helped thousands of callers. We know how hard it can be to understand brain injury and how tough it is to figure out where to go to get the treatment and care needed. That’s why we’re here. Our staff is available to answer your questions and offer support.

We provide:

• Brain injury specific resources such as a directory of professionals, medical/rehabilitation services, and community based programs in your area.
• Information about social service programs, services, and benefits including Medicaid, Social Security, Medicaid Waivers and more.
• Articles on a variety of topics related to brain injury; we can customize a packet based on the information you provide.
• Tips on how the system works and how to advocate for yourself or your loved one.
